Just an fyi - I'm off on a week vacation. My family gets together each year down in Mexico and this year we selected Cabo San Lucas (or Los Cabos).  So we have my parents, my sister, her husband, their kids, an aunt and uncle, and my lovey wife Lou.

Cabo is great, the people are kind as usual and the techno is horrible! I have no idea why this is the case, but every place i stay in Mexico feels like they must play thumping techno - the kind that does nothing but kick kick kick... I'm a HUGE fan of electronic music, I record all kinds of electronic music myself, but this thump thump that you hear down here is like 15yrs old and annoying. I look around the resort area, the pool, etc. and I don't see too many people getting into the music. The sounds of the wind and the ocean are all around us here, and it's what a lot of people don't have access to 'back home.' I wish the resorts would realize how much they are taking away from the experience.

My family is all in good spirts - which is always a great thing to experience. I'm so fortunate to have a family that I WANT to be with. We are all friends - not because we are related - because we like and enjoy each other.
